Enjoyable Second Term

This year’s second term was a lot of fun. We went to Jubilee to pack clothes for inmates as Christmas presents. My job was to carry boxes that were full of presents and stack them on shelves. But before we were assigned to different jobs, we were taken on a tour of the building where we got to see where other people would work.

Then we went to Middle Creek Wildlife Center. At the wildlife center it has artifacts of Pennsylvania’s  history of park rangers and the equipment the park rangers would use to keep the park safe. But most of the center was about birds of America. Then outside the center there are a few trails that you can hike around the park.

A few weeks after the wildlife center, Paloma hosted an event for the students in the school. The event was called ‘Paloma loves books day’. On this day you can dress up as your favorite book character and bring the book where your character is from.

Finally, the Pa State Museum. At the museum it has artifacts about Pennsylvania history. The museum was very big, and it was so much fun to explore. My favorite part of the museum was the exhibit about the Indians. There were a few Indian huts that you can walk through and see the inside of them. The tools that the Indians made are very incredible.

All of these events made this term very enjoyable.
